Isuzu D-Max

Isuzu has launched two new variants of the D-Max. The first being an air-conditioned version of Isuzu's single cab D-Max Flat Deck pickup priced ₹ 6.84 lakh (ex-showroom, NCR), and the second being a cab-chassis variant of the D-Max with a price tag of ₹ 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom, NCR).
The cab-chassis variant is designed to allow customers to custom build the load bed as per business requirements.
The company has said that the introduction of air-conditioning to the single cab truck is to help improve productivity and reduce driver fatigue. With the single cab D-Max in a cab-chassis variant the company hopes to extend its customer reach.
The Isuzu D-Max is currently offered in the single cab Flat Deck variant for the commercial markets and the more premium Arched Deck variant with a space cab which offers additional space behind the front seats for lifestyle buyers. Power is derived from a 2.5-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine developing 134 bhp and 29.97kgm of torque.
Isuzu currently has 20 dealerships across the country and the company plans to increase the tally to 60 by the end of the fiscal year.
