The new BMW 2-series Active Tourer is a versatile five-seat MPV which will usher in a new era of front-drive models after its debut at the Geneva motor show. The new BMW is due to go on sale in the UK in September.

                     AUDI TT QUATTRO SPORT CONCEPT

The new Audi TT quattro sport concept, an "extreme driving machine" capable of 0-100kph in 3.7sec according to its maker, has been unveiled at the Geneva motor show.
 
Audi's concept, which is based on the recently revealed TT, packs a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine that produces 414bhp and 46kgm of torque.

               GUMPERT EXPLOSION

The Gumpert Explosion, a two-seat sports car with four-wheel drive, has been unveiled at the Geneva motor show.
The new creation from the niche car manufacturer – which hit financial troubles in 2012 – is a front-engined sports car with a tubular frame and a chassis made from carbon-fibre, glass-fibre-reinforced plastic and aluminium composite.
