The Bentley Continental GT Speed has been updated for 2014, and is now
the fastest production car ever made by the firm. The car has made its
debut at the Geneva motor show.
With power from its 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12 engine pushed to
626bhp, the Continental GT Speed is now capable of 331kph in coupé form,
while the convertible has a new top speed of 327kph.
Bentley says it has lowered the GT Speed's chassis and stiffened its
suspension, as well as adding new exterior paint trim to the front
splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser. The interior of the GT Speed
has also been updated, and now comes with new stitching and colour
options.
The company has also introduced seven new options packages for its
Continental models, each featuring different specifications. Among the
luxuries offered are new in-seat neck warmers, drilled alloy foot
pedals, new boot carpeting and a heated steering wheel. Deliveries of
the new GT Speed are likely to start sometime in the middle of this
year.
